Over 14 years of experience at the intersection of renewable energy technologies and carbon capture utilization and storage technologies.

• Over 7 years of experience leading CCUS projects at the national and international levels.
• Over 6 years of experience in the research and development of technologies for carbon capture utilization and storage including Mineral Carbonation, Physical adsorption, Chemical Absorption, and Direct Air Capture.
• Over 10 years of experience in renewable energy conversion via biomass gasification (pre-combustion CO2 capture), pyrolysis and combustion.
• Experience in process simulations via Aspen for carbon capture and FactSage for mineral phase transformations during thermal conversion processes.
• PhD in Energy Engineering with focus on energy conversion via thermal conversion processes–gasification, pyrolysis, and combustion.
• Several years of experience as a reviewer for high-impact journals.
• Several years of experience as supervisor for thesis works.
• Some experience in the grading committee for PhD defense.
